Coach James Kwesi Appiah has failed to qualify Ghana for second successive time with him in charge as he is the first African to do that with the side.

Kwesi Appiah took Ghana to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but the tournament in itself ended in disaster with a group stage exit for the Ghana Black Stars.
